Debbie Homewood Bio

Debbie Homewood is a Registered Psychotherapist and counsellor with 30 years experience in private practice and has three years experience as a full-time Pastoral Advisor. Debbie has helped many people deal with life’s many painful, confusing and stressful situations such as illness, loss, grief, low self-esteem, conflict, difficulty in making decisions and loneliness.
After 13 years of research with The Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, at the University of Toronto, Debbie has practiced privately in the Toronto area for the past 30 years.
In addition to a private practice, Debbie has extensive experience conducting workshops and seminars, speaking to a wide variety of groups, and providing biofeedback training for counsellors and other health care professionals, including the Ontario College for Naturopathic Medicine.
Debbie is a member of The Ontario Association of Mental Health Professionals (OAMHP), and is certified and approved for Chaplaincy and Spiritual Care by the Ontario Multifaith Council.
